Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals Inc. is seeking a Sterile Filter Operator at the Gooding Whey Plant to oversee efficient packaging operations and ensure top quality product delivery. You will operate sterile filtration equipment, collect samples, monitor equipment, and support production with SOP updates.

The role requires attention to safety, the ability to work in hot and dusty conditions, and willingness to work weekends/overtime. Training and teamwork are emphasized in Glanbia’s production environment.

Qualifications

• Computer experience required; basic Microsoft Office.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required.
• No lifting restrictions.
• Self-motivated with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate all sterile filtration processing equipment.
• Collect and deliver samples to the laboratory.
• Monitor equipment and adjust for top quality products.
• Fill trays and buckets with product, palletize, and store in freezer.
• Take inventory, follow FIFO and production priorities.
• Troubleshoot equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with training other operators.
• Maintain standard work and SOPs; update as needed.
• Take readings and fill equipment log sheets.
• Keep the plant interior and exterior clean.
• Monitor and report spills, hazards, and equipment issues.
• Engage in HACCP and Food Safety activities.
• Handle chemicals safely for CIP, COP, sanitation.
• Maintain sanitary, uncluttered work area.
• Stock SF area for production; assist with loading/unloading.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
