Job summary

Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) invites you to join our Whey Process Operator team on site in Oregon. You will operate whey processing equipment, monitor systems, and ensure quality while following GMP and HACCP standards.

You’ll collect samples, troubleshoot issues, keep accurate records, and maintain clean, safe processing areas in a production environment. Your role supports our commitment to uncompromising quality and teamwork, with shifts that may include weekends and varying

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
0-3 yrs experience in food industry preferred.
Must be able to lift and carry 55 lbs safely.
Must be able to work various shifts and weekends.
Able to work in a production environment with a mild to extreme temperature range.
Must be able to climb stairs up to a height of 85 feet.
Ability to obtain scissor lift and pallet jack certifications.

Responsibilities

Operate whey processing equipment to meet quality standards.
Monitor and maintain whey processing systems and equipment.
Manage volumes and rotations of liquid storage silos.
Collect samples of product for performance analysis.
Follow GMP, HACCP, Safety rules and sanitation schedules.
Troubleshoot processing problems during operation.
Ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Maintain the processing areas, CIP room and control room in a safe, sanitary, efficient order.
