Job summary

Tillamook is seeking a Whey Process Operator to ensure production meets our high quality standards. You will operate whey processing equipment, manage storage silos, collect samples, and monitor membrane systems while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and safety rules.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, willingness to work varied shifts including weekends, and the ability to work in temperature-controlled environments. Training for scissor lift and pallet jack certifications is available as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years experience in food industry preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry 55 lbs safely.
• Must be able to work various shifts and weekends.
• Able to work in a production environment with a mild to extreme temperature range.
• Must be able to climb stairs up to 85 feet.
• Ability to obtain scissor lift and pallet jack certifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate whey processing equipment to meet quality standards.
• Manage volumes and rotations of liquid storage silos.
• Collect samples for performance analysis.
• Operate, monitor and maintain membrane systems and equipment.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, safety rules.
• Clean and sanitize process systems per sanitation schedule.
• Troubleshoot processing problems and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain processing areas, CIP room and control room in safe, sanitary condition.
