Job summary

Hyundai Motor Company is seeking a Wheels & Tires Engineer to join its Chassis Engineering Design Team. You will play a critical role in the design, development, and validation of wheel and tire systems for U.S. SUV and off-road vehicles.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include collaborating with various teams to ensure the performance and compliance of tire systems, utilizing advanced CAD software for design, and supporting testing efforts across various terrains.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with wheel and tire systems, preferred in SUVs or off-road vehicles.
• Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, NX, Solidworks).
• Knowledge of NVH considerations specific to heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities

• Engage in design and development of wheel and tire systems.
• Support validation plans for wheel and tire designs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
