Job summary

Segula Technologies is seeking a Wheels & Tires Design Release Engineer to lead the design release, packaging, and performance validation of wheels, tires, wheel trim, fasteners, and complete wheel-and-tire assemblies. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with Product Design Studio, suppliers, purchasing, vehicle dynamics, quality, and plants to bring products from concept to production.

You will drive functional objectives, apply industry standards, and ensure on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in design release of wheels, tires, and related assemblies.
• Knowledge of industry standards for tire and wheel sizing.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, packaging, and release of wheels, wheel trim, tires, and fasteners.
• Establish functional objectives and fit/form/function with vehicle team.
• Manage supplier readiness, sourcing, and program KPIs (cost, weight, quality, timing).
• Oversee QA documentation (DVP&R, DFMEA) and performance targets (NVH, durability).
• Coordinate plant test builds, launches, and PFMEA/PPAP processes.
