Job summary

The DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance and recovery operations on wheeled vehicles in the field and in the shop.

You will inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, adjust, and replace systems and components; learning to perform recovery operations and service electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and charging systems.

Qualifications

• Interest in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems
• Interest in automotive engines and how they work

Responsibilities

• Maintain wheeled vehicles, associated trailers and material handling equipment systems
• Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harness, and starting and charging systems
