Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair wheeled vehicles in the field and shop. You will supervise and perform maintenance, testing, and recovery operations to keep equipment ready for drill and deployment.

Responsibilities include inspecting and servicing electrical systems, wiring harnesses, and charging systems, with training provided to advance your civilian-mechanic career through paid instruction and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Must be enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be between ages 17 and 35.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, repair, test, and replace vehicle systems.
• Perform recovery operations on wheeled vehicles.
• Service electrical systems including wiring harness and charging systems.
