Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Light-Wheel Vehicle Mechanic to supervise and perform maintenance on wheeled vehicles in the field and shop. You will inspect, service, repair, test, and replace components, and may perform recovery operations and electrical system servicing.

Qualifications

Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
High school diploma or GED (or current high school junior).
Ages 17–35.
Must pass physical exam and meet standards.
Citizenship requirements per NATIONALGUARD.com.

Responsibilities

Supervise and perform maintenance on wheeled vehicles and trailers.
Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, starting and charging systems.
