Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers requiring wheelchair assistance at Los Angeles area airports. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and timely service at the airport.

No diploma is required; on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must be 18+ and have strong customer service aptitude. The position pays $25 per hour with tipping potential and is an on-site role with ABM, a veteran-friendly employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
