Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to assist airline passengers needing wheelchair support. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service and strict safety adherence in a fast-paced airport environment.

Relevant duties include coordinating with dispatch and gate staff, aiding with baggage, and submitting detailed incident reports when required. No degree needed; on-the-job training is provided, with veteran-friendly employment practices noted.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• Preferred: One year of customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers.
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their destination within the client site or grounds.
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary.
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
