Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers requiring wheelchair assistance. The role is highly customer-service oriented and tipping potential can supplement earnings.

You will follow safety protocols, interact positively with passengers, and coordinate with dispatchers. No diploma or prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Preferred: One year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
