Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring an Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support airline passengers requiring wheelchair assistance. This customer‑facing role emphasizes safety, empathy, and efficient service in a fast paced environment.

The job involves transporting passengers in wheelchairs, assisting with baggage, coordinating with dispatchers and gate agents, and completing incident reports. Training is provided and tipping is customary.

Qualifications

• Required: Must be 18 years of age or older
• Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary
• Complete thorough Incident Reports
