Job summary

Express Employment Professionals seeks a dependable Wheel Loader Operator with experience in the ready-mix concrete industry. You will operate wheel loaders to load aggregates, stockpile materials, and support efficient concrete production and delivery schedules.

Must perform inspections, monitor equipment, and assist with maintenance and repairs while adhering to safety policies and DOT regulations in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wheel loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment components.
• Ability to recognize equipment malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders to load aggregate bins, stockpile materials, and maintain a steady supply of materials for concrete production.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
• Monitor equipment condition and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including greasing, fluid checks, filter inspections, and minor repairs.
• Assist maintenance personnel with equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized aggregate storage areas and plant grounds.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Support plant operations to ensure efficient concrete production and customer delivery schedules.
• Operate additional heavy equipment as required.
