Job summary

CalPortland is seeking an Aggregate Loader Operator in California to accurately load customer trucks using a front-end loader and to support loadout operations at the plant. The role includes feeding crushing and screening plants, performing inspections, and reporting maintenance needs to ensure safe, efficient production.

The position requires prior experience with heavy equipment, strong safety awareness, and ability to work with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment in an aggregate or similar heavy industry.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication for reporting inspections and production data.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders and support equipment to load trucks and feed plants.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections on equipment.
• Maintain stockpiles and load customer trucks as required.
• Conduct routine housekeeping and assist with plant maintenance.
• Follow production plans and document daily production and safety records.
• Adhere to MSHA rules and safety policies and participate in safety trainings.
