Job summary

Southern Readymix, LLC is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate a front-end loader at our concrete batching facility in Georgia. You will load aggregates, maintain stockpiles, and ensure a steady feed of materials to support batch plant production and delivery operations.

You must be comfortable outdoors in varying weather, possess basic mechanical skills, and adhere to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment.
• Knowledge of aggregate materials and concrete production (preferred).
• Basic mechanical skills for maintenance (Plant and Equipment).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical environments.
• Safety-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate frontend loader to transport and load aggregates into the batch plant.
• Maintain correct stockpiles of materials (sand, gravel, cement, fly ash, etc.).
• Ensure consistent feed of materials for concrete production.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance (lubrication, belts, oil levels).
• Keep belts and pulleys aligned and inspect for wear.
• Communicate with batch plant operator and truck drivers to ensure smooth production.
• Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and traffic flow rules in the yard.
