Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group is seeking a wetlands and watercourses field surveyor to support environmental planning and regulatory compliance on infrastructure projects. You will perform site assessments, collect water quality data, map surveyed areas and prepare reports using GIS.

The role requires a degree in a relevant field, at least five years of environmental consulting or field surveying experience, and familiarity with 401/404 regulations, NEPA, and wetland delineations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a related field (Biology, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences)
  • Minimum 5 years environmental consulting/field surveying experience
  • Experience with Section 401/404 regulations and wetlands
  • Wetland delineations and assessments under CWA/RHA
  • NEPA assessments and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Conduct field surveys of wetlands and watercourses.
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data on water quality and biodiversity.
  • Create maps and detailed reports using GIS.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in wetland restoration and monitoring projects.
  • Collaborate with teams across regions and stakeholders.
