True Environmental is seeking a Wetland Scientist to join our Natural Resources team, supporting wetland delineation, permit applications and regulatory compliance across New Jersey and New York. Responsibilities include field investigations, preparing technical reports and coordinating with USACE, NJDEP, NYSDEC and EPA, plus GIS mapping and data management to support multi-disciplinary projects.
The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or related field and 2–10 years of experience,
Formación
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related field.
- 2–10 years of relevant experience in wetlands or natural resources.
- PWS certification is a plus (if aiming for career progression).
Responsabilidades
- Conduct wetland delineations per USACE and state methodologies.
- Prepare permit applications for NJDEP and NYSDEC.
- Conduct field investigations including soil, hydrology, and vegetation surveys.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies (USACE, NJDEP, NYSDEC, EPA).
- Support GIS mapping and data management for projects.
- Assist senior scientists and project managers.
