Canacre is seeking an Environmental Specialist to lead field surveys of wetlands and watercourses, collect data, and create GIS-based maps. You will ensure regulatory compliance and contribute to restoration projects while collaborating with regional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in environmental consulting, experience with §401/404 and NEPA, and strong communication skills. A PWS/WPIT is preferred; field work and cross-regional collaboration are emphasized.

Competenze

• Minimum of 5 years environmental consulting/field surveying experience.
• Experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience with 401/404 regulations, wetlands, and NEPA.
• PWS or WPIT certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Site assessments: survey wetlands and watercourses; evaluate vegetation, hydrology, soils, and habitats.
• Data collection: gather water quality, flow, biodiversity, and ecological health data.
• Mapping: produce GIS-based maps and reports of surveyed areas.
• Regulatory compliance: ensure adherence to local, state, and federal env regulations; prepare reports for agencies.
• Habitat evaluation: assess ecological value and biodiversity conservation.
