SWCA Environmental Consultants in Austin, Texas is seeking an Assistant Project Biologist – Wetlands to support projects across Texas, Oklahoma, and the Gulf Coast. This role blends fieldwork and office work, including wetland delineations, vegetation surveys, wildlife assessments, and report writing.

Travel up to 60% is anticipated; work includes assisting with permit applications, project management, and collaboration with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant wetland delineation experience.
• Experience conducting field surveys and preparing reports.
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act and Endangered Species Act is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 60% and work outdoors.
