Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Staff-Level Biologist - Wetland Delineator to join our Natural Resources team in Pennsylvania. You will conduct wetland delineations, vegetation surveys, and wildlife assessments across PA, NJ, DE, and MD, with field and office work.

Roles may be office‑based, hybrid, or remote from PA, NJ, or MD, and may require up to 50% travel to support field projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to permit applications, and assist

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience is preferred; or any equivalent combination.
• Knowledge normally obtained through a bachelor's degree, with demonstrated awareness and interest in one or more technical area.

Responsibilities

• Assists with tasks to collect, manage, analyze, and/or summarize data in the field, lab, or office.
• Drafts written summaries of task activities for technical reports and planning documents.
• Supports coordination with stakeholders, including landowners, clients, and agency staff.
• Communicates frequently with team members and supervisors to ensure task objectives and methods are understood and progress is shared.
• Follows directions, safety and quality protocols, and established procedures to complete tasks.
• Follows applicable regulations, standards, and specifications.
• Adheres to the safety program and mitigates safety hazards.
• Performs related work as assigned.
