Job summary

Centuri is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our field crews supporting heavy civil projects across North America. After paid training, you will operate and maneuver earthmoving equipment safely near workers and utilities, reporting to a foreman and contributing to on-site efficiency.

Responsibilities include pre-shift inspections, load/unload equipment, perform routine maintenance, and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience operating heavy equipment near workers and underground utilities.
  • Strong safety mindset and reliability.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, backhoes, trenchers).
  • Load and unload equipment and materials.
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicles.
  • Maintain required Operator Qualifications and follow safety policies.
