Job summary

Centuri seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to join our field crew. After paid training, you will safely operate equipment to move earth, tools, and materials to and from job sites, reporting to a Foreman.

You will assist with general labor as needed to keep the crew productive and the job site safe. You will be part of the nation’s leading Natural Gas Distribution Contractor, with opportunities for growth, training, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• At least 1 year of experience safely operating equipment near workers and underground utilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, trenchers, pavers, dozers, milling saws, road graders, hydro‑excavators, track hoes and more.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Maintain daily pre‑shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry‑required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
