Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Wet Lab Technician to perform chemical analyses in the plating lab, prepare baths, and report results to Plating Managers and Process Engineers. The role requires handling hazardous materials and following safety procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.

The position emphasizes safety training, ability to operate lab equipment, and collaboration with vendors and visitors. Training will cover chemical handling and hazardous waste management.

Qualifications

• Experience handling chemicals.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in chemistry or related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lab analysis and special tests of chemicals used in the wet process areas.
• Accurately report chemical analysis and tests to Plating Managers and Process Engineers.
• Make all chemical additions and bath make-ups.
• Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
• Keep accurate up to date records regarding current baths on production floor.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on most lab equipment, chemical controllers, pumps, and other lab related equipment.
• Interacts with vendors and visitors.
• Perform lab inventory and identify chemicals and equipment needed to order.
• Assists in writing departmental instructions and procedures.
• Ability to effectively run all equipment in department.
• Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste with regard to use, mixing and disposing chemicals.
• Maintains a safe, neat and orderly workplace.
• Use all required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
