Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Plating Operator to manage chemical plating lines for PCB panels, demanding careful handling of hazardous materials and strict adherence to safety procedures.

The role requires reading blueprints, operating wet process equipment, and maintaining equipment within specification. Prior PCB or chemical handling experience is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to quality checks and cross-training across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous chemical handling experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• PCB experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate wet process equipment for PCB panel processing, including copper plating, silver/gold immersion and related steps.
• Set and maintain chemical processing equipment within operating parameters.
• Manually set timers on chemical lines and monitor bath timings.
• Cautiously load racks in plating tanks and ensure bath temperature/current are correct.
• Read blueprints and traveler documents to produce and move products per customer specs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on chemical machines as workload allows.
• Follow all departmental procedures correctly and complete documentation accurately.
• Complete quality checks for products entering and exiting the department and assist cross-training as needed.
