Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Wet Process Intern to collaborate with engineers on innovative wet processing solutions for future semiconductor devices. You will gain hands-on experience in experimental work, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork within the Wet Process Group.

The role emphasizes applying AI-based analysis, communicating results through technical reports, and supporting process capability and contamination control initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related field.
• Academic experience in wet processing, chemistry research or related laboratory environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.
• Ability to work independently with good time management and project ownership.
• Experience collaborating in both individual and team settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and evaluate wet process experiments for future semiconductor nodes.
• Assist with chemistry development, contamination reduction, and surface/interface characterization.
• Analyze data and communicate findings via technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to improve productivity and manufacturability.
• Apply AI-enabled analysis tools to improve research efficiency and data workflows.
