Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Hostperson for the Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand. You will warmly welcome guests, manage seating with professionalism, and help create memorable experiences from the moment guests arrive.

You will be a key link between guests and the service team to ensure smooth dining room flow. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of host experience in fine dining, familiarity with OpenTable or SevenRooms, and the ability to work varied shifts

Qualifications

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Hostperson in a fine dining or luxury dining environment preferred.
• Experience with OpenTable or SevenRooms systems preferred.
• Must be 18+ years of age and able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant.
• Communicate needs of guests to the kitchen and management.
• Manage reservations and seating flow; answer phones and maintain the reservation book.
• Inform management of guest reactions and comments to ensure quality service.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, groups, house counts, table numbers, dress code, and hours of operation.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and assist with guest requests.
