Job summary

Guardian Life in remote United States is seeking a Western Regional Vice President to partner with Principal Owners, Firms and Financial Representatives. This senior field role provides consultative advice to advance growth, productivity, and leadership development across the field distribution network in the Western Region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience consulting on driving sales growth in field-based environments.
• Experience with business planning aligned to strategic growth initiatives.
• Ability to navigate escalations and risk balancing for Firms and Guardian.
• Track record building trust-based relationships across field and home office.
• Understanding of distribution economics and performance drivers.
• Familiarity with field compensation structures and incentive models.
• Leadership aligned to Guardian’s values.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and production outcomes by expanding distribution and influencing performance.
• Partner with Principal Owners (POs) and field leaders to improve productivity using data and coaching.
• Support firm expansion and strategic initiatives, including merger discussions.
• Serve as liaison between Field and Home Office with stakeholders to address regulatory matters.
• Influence succession planning across firms for long-term growth.
• Act as trusted advisor and connector across teams to align initiatives with strategy.
