Professional Responsibilities

• Maintain an inclusive environment
• Create a culture that builds team success
• Encourage and support academic success for athletes
• Collaborate with the varsity coach
• Plan and conduct sport‑specific daily practice plans
• Prepare and implement appropriate strategies for competitive game success
• Understand the game and rules of the sport
• Evaluate the skills and abilities of athletes
• Supervise practices, games, and travel on bus
• Maintain attendance
• Attend mandatory meetings
• Attend the end‑of‑the‑season award night
• Attend the player and parent/guardian meeting organized by the varsity coach at the beginning of the season
• Help oversee uniform distribution and collection and maintain appropriate records
• Complete end‑of‑the‑year evaluations
• Communicate with the Dean of Students, Activities, and Athletics and the Athletic Trainer on a regular basis
