Job summary

Westbrook Public Schools Elementary Classroom Teacher

Hours and Pay Rate Based on WEA Agreement Contract

Westbrook Public Schools is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and compassionate full-time elementary classroom teacher to join our elementary school team for the 2026-2027 school year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing differentiated instruction for students in elementary grades.
• Working with grade-level teams in a collaborative, MTSS model.
• Ensuring safety of students at all times.
• Attending and documenting conferences/meetings/trainings with supervisors, teachers, principals and parents as required by local, state and/or federal agencies.
• Maintaining inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience in an elementary setting is required.

Individuals fluent in Spanish or Portuguese are strongly encouraged to apply.
