Westbrook Public Schools is seeking a Long Term Substitute School Nurse at Daisy Ingraham Elementary School. The role requires a Connecticut RN license, a Bachelor's degree, CPR-AED and First Aid, plus valid driver’s license. Hours are 7 per day, 8:15am-3:15pm, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute paid lunch.

Dates: January 2027 through April 2027. Responsibilities include administering first aid, maintaining health records, counseling students and families, and coordinating health services

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and registered nurse license, supplemented by a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Must be licensed to practice nursing in Connecticut; CPR-AED and First Aid certifications required.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medical assistance and first aid to students according to district health procedures.
• Maintains student health records and confidentiality.
• Dispenses medications as directed by physician and parent/guardian.
