The Cincinnati Insurance Companies seeks an experienced Underwriting Manager for its Gilbert, Arizona field office. The role leads a Western Zone High Net Worth Excess & Surplus underwriter team, driving profitability, risk selection, and growth while maintaining underwriting guidelines.

You will manage a team, mentor underwriters, oversee production meetings, and collaborate with field representatives to address state issues.

Competenze

Minimum five years of personal lines underwriting experience (required).
Property & casualty insurance license required or ability to obtain within 120 days (required).
Experience in the excess and surplus homeowners’ market (preferred).
Knowledge of the high-net-worth marketplace, especially in wildfire-prone areas (preferred).

Mansioni

Oversee territory profitability and growth across the Western Zone.
Establish pricing and appetite for complex exposures across multiple states.
Mentor underwriters and provide guidance on decision making and risk communication.
Lead production meetings and communicate state issues to stakeholders.
Collaborate with field representatives and agencies to optimize performance.
Manage change initiatives and ensure proper execution.
Develop internal and external relationships with key agency partners.
Complete departmental support activities and participate in special projects.
