Job summary

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an excess and surplus personal lines production underwriter. This role underwrites and prices renewal high net worth non-admitted homeowner business in California with potential to move into new business. The position is based in our Gilbert, AZ headquarters.

The pay range is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, with eligible associates receiving an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years underwriting experience.
• Property & casualty license or ability to obtain within 120 days of employment (preferred).
• Experience in or knowledge of wildfire-prone states (preferred). ASLI or CPCU designations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price renewal high net worth non-admitted homeowner business in the state of California.
• Determine risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms and conditions.
• Develop, analyze and evaluate information and exposures for complex risks.
• Achieve production and loss ratio goals within assigned regional territory.
• Determine need for and secure appropriate reinsurance on individual accounts.
• Develop successful business relationships with producers and reinsurers.
