Job summary

Precision Drilling Company, LP is seeking an HSE Superintendent for West Texas to implement and maintain HSE management systems across rigs. The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement, with a 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedule.

You will lead field coaching, conduct inspections, track KPIs, and collaborate with operations to close gaps and coordinate training and development for field personnel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years oilfield or heavy industry experience with a strong safety record.
• Solid knowledge of HSE Management Systems and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with hazard assessments and incident investigations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, capable of influencing all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 HSE support with a strong field presence (up to 80%), coaching and leading rig and shop personnel.
• Lead and reinforce HSE standards, policies, and Life Saving Actions to drive safety and accountability across operations.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct rig inspections, hazard assessments, audits, and incident investigations for regulatory and company compliance.
• Partner with operations leadership to close performance gaps and coordinate HSE training for field employees.
