Job summary

Directors Investment Group is seeking a Funeral Home and Cemetery Sales Manager for the West Texas area (Odessa to Alpine). The role drives revenue with Family Service Professionals and Advanced Planning Professionals, coordinating community outreach and sales processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years FUNERAL sales management experience preferred.
• A valid TEXAS Life insurance license preferred.
• 1-3 years experience as a Family Service Professional or Advanced Planning Professional preferred.
• History of community, civic, volunteer or sectarian work within the market.
• Knowledge of computers and some software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for grieving families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coach Family Service Professionals and/or Advanced Planning Professionals as primary reference on customer service, sales and compliance.
• Schedule, lead distribution, follow up and other aspects of managing a sales team (no direct selling).
• Generate sales leads by serving at-need families and networking in the community; partner with other businesses.
• Assist VP in developing annual location pre-need sales budget and ensure targets are met.
• Ensure 24-hour response to customer complaints and mentor staff to turn issues into opportunities.
• Manage performance, attendance, leave and pay issues for sales staff.
• Communicate progress to GM and Cemetery VP; collaborate with all departments to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead change initiatives to support seamless service and estate planning reference.
