Job summary

Airgas Dry Ice is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to lead distribution across the West region. You will drive safety, fleet readiness, and service levels while managing multi-site teams and large budgets.

Qualified candidates will have a strong background in Last-Mile or regional logistics, P&L ownership, and a proven ability to implement improvements in a fast-paced, union-influenced environment. Willingness to travel ~50% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership with multi-site teams and customer touch in retail logistics.
• Strong knowledge of safety programs (DOT/OSHA) and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing P&L, budgets, and regional operations across North America.
• Proficient with logistics software and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional distribution operations strategy and execution.
• Oversee safety programs, fleet readiness, and facilities across the region.
• Manage budgets, P&L, costs, and performance targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to improve delivery times and service levels.
• Recruit, coach, and develop branch leaders and frontline staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
