Job summary

Thompson Thrift seeks a Director of Development for the West Region based in Denver, CO to oversee a portfolio of multifamily projects from LOI through construction loan closing, coordinating entitlements, due diligence, budgeting, and approvals to deliver high‑quality communities.

You will collaborate with Acquisitions, Development, Construction, legal counsel, and city officials, establish budgets and schedules, guide consultants, and mentor a development team while upholding Thompson Thrift’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in real estate development with 3+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multifamily development projects West Region from LOI to construction loan closing.
• Coordinate entitlements, budgeting, approvals, and design through construction.
• Liaise with city officials, architects, lawyers, engineers, and lenders.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and development strategies.
• Represent Thompson Thrift at hearings and manage project docs.
