Job summary

Merck in the United States seeks a regional sales leader to build, recruit, and develop a high-performing Immunology team, owning the customer portfolio and delivering trusted communications across touchpoints.

You will engage senior health-system leaders, drive omnichannel launches, and deliver regional results while ensuring compliance and cross-functional collaboration. Remote-friendly with 50% travel, based in the US.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 10+ years in sales, marketing or managed care within pharma
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience
• 3+ years building and managing customer relationships
• Resident of the region with travel up to 50% including overnight trips
• Develop regional strategic plans and omnichannel strategies across teams

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing regional team
• Own customer portfolio and ensure trusted communications across touchpoints
• Build relationships with senior leaders and industry thought leaders
• Align account plans with payer and managed-care considerations
• Deliver regional business results and meet P&L targets
• Embed a customer-centric vision across large teams
• Contribute to national strategy on cross-functional teams
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the business
• Maximize business potential with payer, patient, and HCP interactions
• Set annual financial goals for the assigned customer base
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
