Dewberry Engineers Inc. seeks a West Operating Unit Manager to lead growth, operations, and profitability across the Western Region, comprising five offices in California and Colorado.

Reporting to the President, the OUM must be a visionary leader with a strong engineering background, substantial P&L responsibility, and a proven track record in growing engineering and consulting businesses in public-sector markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 20+ years of engineering consulting experience serving public-sector clients.
• 10+ years of leadership experience managing diverse, multi-office engineering operations with P&L responsibility.
• Strong relationships with CA and CO public agencies and private consultants in relevant sectors.
• Experience with other Western States and federal sector projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead the overall growth strategy and business performance of the Western Region.
• Expand market share and strengthen client relationships across Transportation, CM/Inspection, Water/Wastewater, Water Resources, and Site-Civil/Land Development.
• Serve as executive sponsor for key pursuits and major client relationships.
• Oversee five regional offices with accountability for operations, planning, and P&L.
• Drive collaboration across offices and units to support project delivery and growth.
• Champion innovation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
