Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a Bridge Practice Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Bridge practice across the West Region. You will report to the Bridge National Practice Lead, AVP, and play a key role in technical excellence, staff development, financial performance, and growth.

Essential duties include mentoring regional leads, managing utilization and backlog, and driving cross-discipline collaboration while ensuring safety and quality policies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural engineering leadership or practice management.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses to support regional growth.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building abilities.
• Experience managing financial performance, utilization, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and oversee structures practice leads and project managers within the West Region.
• Manage team utilization, backlog, and financial performance.
• Monitor pursuit pipeline and staffing balance.
• Collaborate across offices to promote cross-discipline integration and shared success.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality policies.
• Support sales goals and business development strategies for the regional structures practice.
• Maintain and input project/client data in Vantagepoint CRM.
