Qualifications

• Relevant degree and experience per minimum qualifications.
• Lived experience related to caregiving or Serious Emotional Disturbance (12+ months).
• Experience in Youth/Family Peer Specialist, Navigator, or similar roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of cross-agency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Partners with local and State SOC Collaboratives in western NC.
• Promotes Family Voice and Choice at services, systems, and policies.
• Attends local, state, and national meetings to gather feedback.
• Works with State agencies to promote SOC values and practices.
• Establishes relationships with SAMHSA-sponsored national agencies.
• Develops and maintains a formal network of family/youthled organizations.
