Job summary

A prominent public research university in North Carolina is seeking a Collaboration Coordinator to foster collaboration and advocate for Family Voice & Choice within various service delivery systems and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have relevant lived experiences and skills in communication, organization, and coordination, along with a relevant degree. This role involves establishing networks and linking families to necessary resources for enhancing advocacy and support efforts throughout the state.

Qualifications

• Relevant lived experiences related to personal and/or caregiving/family experience with a Serious Emotional Disturbance for at least 12 months.
• Experience working in paid or unpaid Youth/Family Peer Specialist roles.
• Demonstrated experience with written and verbal communication skills, organization, and cross-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partners with local and State SOC Collaboratives to promote Family Voice and Choice.
• Establishes and maintains a network of family, youth and/or young adult-led organizations.
• Identifies and links families to partners across the State.
