Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro seeks a Collaboration Coordinator West to foster collaboration and advocate for Family Voice & Choice across service delivery systems in western North Carolina. This role will help establish a formal network of family and youth-led organizations to enhance statewide coordination.

As part of the Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships, the position supports local and state collaboratives while upholding SOC Values and Principles,

Qualifications

• A relevant post-Baccalaureate degree is required; an undergrad degree with 3+ years of substitute experience may be accepted.
• Experience with lived experiences related to caregiving/family experience with a Serious Emotional Disturbance for at least 12 months.
• Experience in paid or unpaid Youth/Family Peer Specialist, Navigator, Partner, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, organization, and cross-agency collaboration and coordination.
• Preferred: Certified Family Peer Specialist certification.
• Preferred: leadership role related to Youth/Family Peer Support and/or Education, especially in western NC.

Responsibilities

• Foster collaboration and advocate for Family Voice & Choice in partnership with service delivery systems and state agencies.
• Establish a formal network or directory of family, youth, and/or young-adult led organizations for future collaboration.
