The Christman Company is seeking a Concrete Project Manager for the West Michigan region to lead client relationships, coordinate planning services, and oversee project execution with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or other relevant course work.
• Five (5) or more years of work experience in construction or related job field.
• Intermediate computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• -or- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and maintains client relationships from contract start through warranty period.
• Coordinates development and delivery of project planning services (estimating, scheduling, value engineering, reporting).
• Establishes project-specific goals related to schedule, safety, accounting, labor relations, and data reporting.
• Manages client relations and clarifies quality standards and priorities per design docs and punch lists.
• Oversees processing of project documents, change orders, and field work orders with formal authorization.
• Ensures alignment between client needs, contractual obligations, and performance by all trades.
• Defines goals and priorities to guide resource allocation.
• Determines staffing needs and creates work plans and schedules for each phase.
• Sets subcontract scopes and communicates expectations with trades, safety and quality.
• Clarifies expectations in project documents and during pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
• Executes risk protections by selecting Builder's Risk approach and confirms coverage.
• Leads safety-focused team coordination with attention to hazard elimination.
• Coordinates information sharing to keep the team informed of status.
• Analyzes project financials and expenditures; prepares monthly evaluations.
• Ensures OSHA, EPA and other regulations compliance.
