Job summary

Christman Constructors, Inc. in West Michigan is seeking a Concrete Project Manager to lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and safety management across Midwest projects.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate with shared trades, prepare estimates, review change orders, and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and compliance with regulations. A Civil/Construction background with 5+ years' experience and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience in construction or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and maintains client relationships to understand project needs and warranties.
• Coordinates development of project planning services (estimating, scheduling, reporting).
• Establishes project goals related to schedule, safety, and data reporting.
• Manages client relations and quality expectations described in design docs and punch lists.
• Coordinates documentation, change orders, and approvals with trades and suppliers.
• Defines staffing requirements and develops project staffing plans and work schedules.
• Oversees subcontract agreements and communicates expectations for safety and quality.
• Manages risk, insurance approach, and coverage sufficiency for projects.
• Maintains safety focus and mitigates hazardous conditions on site.
• Compiles and analyzes project financial information for monthly reviews.
