Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Approximately 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing entries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
• Support client billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and related calculations.
• Review accounts payable activity and support payment processing.
• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with annual audit and tax requests.
• Perform financial analysis and ad hoc reporting.
• Research accounting matters as needed.
• Document and improve accounting procedures, reports, and internal processes.
• Partner with the Controller and other members of the finance team on ongoing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and closing entries
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness
• Support client billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and related calculations
• Review accounts payable activity and support payment processing

Preferred Experience:

• Public accounting/audit experience or a combination of public and corporate accounting
• CPA or progress toward CPA designation
• Experience with NetSuite or another large ERP
• Financial services or other complex corporate accounting experience
• Experience improving accounting processes, reporting, or systems
