Job summary

Eaton’s North American Sales Division seeks a US West Coast Digital Solutions Sales Specialist. This remote role can be based in multiple West Coast and nearby states. Travel up to 50% to support customers and initiatives across the region.

The DSS drives growth of Eaton's digital solutions portfolio for utilities, serving IOUs, co-ops, municipalities, and public power organizations. You will develop opportunities across grid modernization, DER, analytics, and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience selling solutions to utilities.
• Three (3+) years of experience selling utility technology, automation, software, digital, grid modernization, SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, analytics, or related solutions to utility customers.
• Relocation is not available. Candidates must currently reside within a 50 mile radius of Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Las Vegas, NV; Chandler, AZ; Wilsonville, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; San Deigo, CA; Pleasanton, CA; Spokane, WA; Tukwila, WA or Boise, ID to be considered.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of Eaton's digital solutions portfolio across western U.S. utilities.
• Serve as trusted advisor to investor‑owned utilities, electric cooperatives, municipalities, and public power organizations.
• Develop opportunities across Eaton's digital solution offerings, including grid modernization, edge computing, DER, analytics, software, and services.
• Lead opportunity development across Eaton's digital solutions offerings with cross‑functional teams.
• Review RFPs and provide content and direction throughout procurement.
• Manage a sales funnel pipeline in Eaton CRM tools.
