Job summary

Via is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to lead the West Coast region, starting with a team of Field Operations Managers and expanding to General Managers and Operations Managers. You will set and execute regional operating strategy, ensuring safe, reliable, high-quality service across a large, fast-growing book of business.

The West region is expanding with new markets, contracts, and service types.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an operational leadership role with P&L responsibility.
• Track record in high-growth or transformation environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a regional team with clear expectations, cadence and accountability.
• Own regional P&L outcomes in partnership with Finance and market GMs.
• Translate regional priorities into actionable market strategies and growth initiatives.
• Partner with senior stakeholders and agency leadership, ensuring transparent reporting and remediation when service misses occur.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Service Design, Product, Remix, Safety, Fleet, HR, and Finance to align capacity with growth.
