Job summary

Via Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations to lead our West Coast portfolio, overseeing regional P&L and developing frontline leaders while partnering with Commercial, Service Design, Product, and Finance.

You will drive scalable operating models, ensure safe, reliable, high-quality service, and lead strategic initiatives across markets with travel ~25% across the West Coast.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership with P&L responsibility.
• Track record of scaling teams or launching new lines of business.
• Bachelor’s degree and strong academic/professional record.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional leadership, coach teams, set expectations and accountability.
• Own regional P&L outcomes in partnership with Finance and GMs; manage revenue hours, cost per ride, and margins.
• Drive root-cause problem solving on underperforming markets and plan for growth across markets.
• Partner with Commercial, Service Design, Product, and Finance to align capacity with growth and roadmap.
