Huntress Labs is a remote-first cybersecurity company seeking a Security Operations Analyst for a West Coast shift. The role involves triage, investigation, and remediation of intrusions, with opportunities to develop skills daily and advance to higher complexity tasks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and common defense tools.
• Ability to explain complex events to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Review EDR telemetry, logs, and forensic artifacts to identify root causes and provide remediations.
• Perform basic malware analysis as part of alert triage.
• Investigate suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and propose mitigations.
• Assist in escalations from Product Support on threat-related questions.
• Contribute to detection engineering and tuning efforts.
• Collaborate on projects to improve analyst outcomes.
