Job summary

Huntress is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst for a West Coast remote shift. The role involves triage, investigation, and remediation of intrusions with a mission-driven SOC team. You'll work on EDR telemetry, forensics, and threat remediation across global customers.

Requirements include 4+ years in a SOC/DFIR, strong Windows/Linux/MacOS knowledge, and proficiency with MITRE ATT&CK and basic malware analysis. Competitive compensation with bonuses and equity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a SOC or DFIR role.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS as attack surface.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and common TTPs.
• Knowledge of malware analysis concepts (static/dynamic).
• Understanding of Windows Admin/Enterprise Domain and networking basics.
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
• Perform forensic analysis to determine root cause and remediation steps.
• Conduct malware analysis as part of triage.
• Investigate MS 365 activity and provide remediations.
• Assist escalations from Product Support and contribute to detection engineering.
• Participate in projects to improve analyst outcomes.
